Eugenia Dal Bò was born in 1867 in Milan.
She moved often, following her father. She graduated with a literature degree in Naples and became an expert in Dante Studies, traveling throughout Italy to teach. With her husband, the general Gherardo Pantano, she also lived in Italian colonies in Africa.
She died in 1943.
